Rule the Street

Street styles have always been a popular get-up of today’s generation. Ensemble of this flair explains about liberty. It could also be a fashion that signifies the history, culture and the like of a particular place.

A way that would depict the distinctiveness of the place where one came from is expressed through street style. It does not just rest on the ragged look or simply the hip-hop thing. Hence, it is never a restriction if one would wear her style.

These pieces I wore during Bjorn's stop here in Naga earlier this July just revealed my personality of being a Rocker-Chic. Nonetheless, it also conveys how a place like Naga has been a very prominent city, where history and culture is celebrated and preserved.
(This shot was taken by Bjorn)

What I’m wearing:

Denim muscle tee, Faded Glory; Printed Leggings, Cherokee

Silver necklace, Online

Vintage watch (my Bf’s), Casio

Skater shoes, Adidas

Also, Abby and me’s turn for a shot with Bjorn.

These photos were taken inside our University when A-Fash had the chance to meet Bjorn for his Kalsada Project.

Blues

Howdy!  Months have passed since I had my last post here. I’ve been a busy bee for quite a while that I had to rest on this thing for like some time. And now that I’m back into business, I’ll try my very best to blog regularly so you guys would not miss a single thing with me. 

A month ago, I was recruited and eventually joined A-fash, a fashion group in our University. A-fash is a cluster of individuals of Ateneo de Naga, who share the same interest, Fashion. Though we have our school uniform during weekdays, Wednesday is a day for us. At A-Fash, Wednesday is an “outfit day” instead of calling it as a “wash-day”. We usually have our theme at A-fash during our outfit days. And these shots were my firsts with A-fash, with the theme “Bluer than Blue”.
What I'm Wearing:
Blue Necklace from an online shop, Human tank top, Vest from thrift shop
Belladonna satchel bag

Moustache watch from an online shop

Primadonna blue loafers
with my photographer, Abby. :)

Now, who said that Blue is for sadness? It would still depend on you attitude. Plus, don’t forget that there are a lot of reasons in life for us to SMILE, a secret for a gorgeous look.
That would be all for now. Thank you for reading!

Stained Classy

Looking for a classy yet a not-so-nude color outfit for an affair? Are you also worrying for something to wear that will blend with the season of Summer? I've got a solution for that, now! Why not try wearing something that will get your outfit busy yet will not break your classy look. A stained top matched with a black-colored skirt will try to make you look fabulous!

Plus, spice-up your look with some accessories like this gold fish scales-inspired thing!

So, who said that busy print-look won't make you look gorgeous? Stained + black + gold = Perfect classy! You're just in the right combinations. I usually  do this to knock all the seriousness off with neutral colors.
Break the seriousness. Spread the happiness, instead.
 Happy Easter, everyone!

Denim meets White

It's already on the third day of our "hell week" in school since Finals  is already on and can never be pulled backwards. Plus, the summer heat is already felt from here that also adheres to the hectic schedule of everyone.  Hence, I'm on my preppy outfit on a Wednesday to feel comfortably cool even if everything's on a rush.

Meet this bud, Marcki, who got the same concept of the day with me. White shirt matched with a comfy denim is best to beat the summer heat on a busy schedule.

On schedules like this, I can be usually found to be on a "T-Shirt-Denim-Flats" so I can move freely to meet every demand of the day. And yes, I badly miss wearing heels. Anyhow, fashion is not about the "tiis-ganda" look wearing those fancy clothes and high heels. Rather, its about how you feel comfortable wearing  something that blends with your personality. J
