Basking Hearts

Been seeing symbols of love around lately in celebration with the Valentine's day. Indeed, it is the most romantic day for couples out there to celebrate love with each other. But mind you, Valentine's day aren't just for couples but for everyone as well.

And since me and my sister were both occupied on that special day, we chose to reschedule it for us to celerate our love with each other. So much with flowers and sweets, we decided to bask and roam just around Intramuros (Manila).
So serene is the place that peace can really be felt. Undoubtfully, we really had a great time together.
What I wore:

Ombre Top, Thrifted; Shorts, Online
Watch, Vasanova; Bracelet, gift from a friend; Bag, Zara; Wedged Topsiders, On your feet
If I will be asked hat really Valentine's Day is for me, I would say that it's simply happiness brought by the world-turner, LOVE. I guess one might be suffering from a disorder if one could not feel love at all and doesn't even bother himself to celebrate one of the great days of the year. It is not about the flowers, sweets, dates, but it how we express our love to one another. I hope everyone enjoyed Valentine's Day 21414. I know this one's kinda late but Happy Valentine, still.   Thanks for reading The Vogue Tales
Spread love!

PS. Thanks for the flowers and chocolate I received  from my beloved. ❤

The New Hood

I lately got so addicted with the song 23. After some time suffering from LSS, the beat has also affected my mood and for some other reasons, the way I dressed. So I tried adding some sort of a hip-hop thing on what I wore and found this baseball cap that looks so adorable. I tried using it the time when we, my cousins and my sister, fetched my Canadian cousin, who also happened to be my sister from another family.
Just want to highlight this cap which really caught me up holistically. So comfortable was the feeling when I'm with it. No messy hair. Just wore the cap and the rest followed.
Grabbed from Ingstagram
What I wore:

Cap, Forever21; Top, Oxygen; Shorts, Thrifted; Shoes, Online; Watch, Casio

So instead of wearing that typical jacket with the usual hood to put on, do you agree that this cap is now the new hood, YAY OR NAY?

Postcards for the Holidays II

I know this post is so out-of-date (again! Hahaha). Yet i still have to blog about this to share that I just had the best holidays so far with my family.  The photos above were some of the places in my hometown, Albay.
Taken at Kawa-Kawa, Ligao Albay

This is considered by Albayanos as one of the sacred places in town where sacred figures can be found and and it was just named so for having a pan-shaped view at the top of hill. As I've mentioned, it is a hill so, we had to go on a long journey of walking to reach the top. One of the amazing thing I was able to experience there was the ATV, a motorbike used for adventures.
Grabbed from IG taken at Cagsawa, Daraga Albay

This is just one of the famous tourists' spots in Albay featuring the old Cagasawa Church with a perfect view of Mayon Volcano as its background.
A trick taken by one on the guides there. A literal giantic thing, eh? Hahaha
 Grabbed from IG

What I wore:
Hat, Uniqlo; Knitted Outerwear, Jessica Simpson; Top, Thrifted; Shorts, Banana Republic; Footwear, Gap; Watch, Casio

PS. Apology for quite low quality of photos. We just brought a hassle-free camera during the trip to enjoy the experience. :)

'Twas so good to be back home during the holidays and be with the most especial people here on the planet, my family.
